Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards are only available for in-store pickup or local delivery within the Puget Sound area of Western Washington. Delivery is available for free on new boat and board purchases of at least $1500 and within 30 miles of our Port Gamble, Washington store. A ferry surcharge may apply for deliveries to Seattle and the east side of Puget Sound. We do not have the ability to ship Kayaks or SUP's, other than inflatables, outside of Western Washington at this time.
The same geography which makes the Puget Sound area such a wonderful place to paddle, also makes it difficult for us to make deliveries. We all love riding the ferries, but they sure can get expensive! Deliveries to Seattle and the east side of Puget Sound on purchases under $3000 are subject to a ferry surcharge up to $60. See the map for approximate delivery radius. If you add the boat or board to your cart we have a shipping calculator which will show you if delivery is available for your address, and whether any charges will apply. If you are outside of this area or have any other special considerations you can give us a call at (360) 297-4659 and we will be happy to see what we can work out for you.
The Old Town Castine is a day touring kayak that comes in three different sizes, making it easier to find a model that fits just right. Built for the perfect balance of comfort and performance, all three models feature the all-new Slide-Away Day Hatch, adjustable thigh braces, and with the ACS2 Seat you’ll feel like you’re floating on a cloud all day long. This model comes with the rudder kit already installed!
From day paddles with a large lunch to overnight river trips along scenic waterways, you have plenty of space in the generous hatches to stash all the goodies you need for a relaxing cruise; the quick seal hatch covers are double secured with CrossLock covers, helping keep water off your valuable cargo. The ACS2 seat is designed specifically for comfortable touring, and can be adjusted along with the foot and thigh braces to ensure good control on the river. Old ways die hard, so if you just can't help rolling your kayak in an attempt to show off, deck rigging rope and bungees provide safety points if you're forced to make a wet exit.
