Rental Facility





Explore the Des Moines waterfront at the picturesque Redondo Beach Boardwalk. You may rent one and two person sit-on-top kayaks as well as stand up paddleboards. We are set up at the boat launch adjacent to the fishing pier and Salty's Seafood Grill.

* Weather permitting. Call us at (360) 297-4659 to ensure we're open during inclement weather. Rentals must return at least 30 minutes before closing. Last rentals go out no later than an hour and a half before closing.




What's Included with Rentals

All Rentals include a basic instruction from our fun, knowledgeable staff, guidance of the local area and conditions, as well as a safety talk. Kayak rentals include boat, paddle, life jacket, paddle float, and bilge pump. Paddleboard rentals include board, paddle, life jacket, and board leash.

On-site rentals are first-come, first-served. We do not take reservations for on-site hourly rentals unless you have a group of 6 or more. Please call us at (360) 297-4659 for group or off-site rentals.

Our Redondo Beach rental is located about a 30 minute drive from either Seattle to the north or Tacoma to the south.

Saltwater State Park:

1.75 miles (about an hour of paddling) north of our Redondo location lies Saltwater State Park, an excellent spot to stop and stretch your legs and recharge your batteries. Saltwater State Park offers overnight camping, hiking trails, facilities and even a horseshoe pit!

Dash Point State Park

If you are looking to spend a it more time on the water and paddle a bit further then head to Dash Point. Dash Point is 4 miles from our launch which will take 1.5 - 2 hours one way.  Once there the park offers: Camping, Hiking, Biking, Picnic Tables and much more!
