Looksha II Race

This classic performance and race boat is in very good condition and features an under-stern surf ski style rudder and a lightweight performance layup with a carbon fiber deck and carbon reinforced kevlar hull.

The Necky Looksha design family is recognizable by it's distinct double chine for extra secondary stability and a "dolphin bow". The Looksha II was designed with the athletic person in mind: it is fast and efficient in difficult conditions. To reduce wetted surface and reduce wave making, we've put in a lot of rocker, which also helps in acceleration and handling rough conditions. Fast turning hulls are hard to control unless using a rudder. Looksha II was designed as a rudder-controlled boat with no compromise intended.
