  • Programs Manager (Seasonal)

    The Programs Manager is responsible for the leadership, planning, and execution of all Olympic Outdoor Center programs, including classes, tours, rentals, events, and program locations. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on instruction and guiding, ensuring programs are safe, high-quality, financially sound, and aligned with Olympic Outdoor Center's mission.

    The Programs Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and works closely with operations, retail, seasonal and marketing teams.

  • Retail Store Associate

    Longtime kayak and mountain bike shop in beautiful and historic Port Gamble, Washington is seeking a part-time retail associate to join the team. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services at our retail storefront, as well as online and over the phone.

  • Bioluminescence Kayak Guide (Seasonal)

    Olympic Outdoor Center is seeking outgoing, safety-focused Seasonal Bioluminescence Kayak Guides to lead our signature nighttime kayak tours based in Port Gamble.

    This is a one-of-a-kind guiding role focused on delivering safe, memorable evening experiences as guests paddle under the stars and witness the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence in the waters of the Kitsap Peninsula.

    Guides are responsible for leading groups on the water after dark, creating a calm and welcoming environment, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from launch to return.

  • Naturalist Kayak Guide (Seasonal)

    Olympic Outdoor Center is seeking a knowledgeable, engaging Seasonal Naturalist Kayak Guide to join our guiding team for the summer season.

    This unique role combines kayaking leadership with environmental interpretation. Naturalist Guides serve as the ecosystem expert on our tours—sharing insights into the marine environment, local wildlife, and the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence.

    Naturalist Guides lead and support both:
    • Bioluminescence Night Tours (Port Gamble)
    • Wildlife & Scenic Kayak Tours (Poulsbo / Liberty Bay)

    This position is ideal for a college student or early-career professional pursuing work in environmental science, marine biology, ecology, outdoor education, or a related field.

  • Rental Associate (Seasonal)

    Olympic Outdoor Center is hiring friendly, reliable Seasonal Rental Associates to support our summer kayak and bike rental operations in Poulsbo and Port Gamble.

    Rental Associates play a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience—from welcoming customers and fitting gear, to preparing equipment and helping visitors launch their outdoor adventure.

    This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working outside, staying active, and being part of a fun, fast-paced team environment.
