Returns & Exchanges

We understand that it can be difficult to get that perfect piece of gear the first time around. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will grant a full refund or exchange. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for returns unless the return is a result of our error or a manufacturing defect.

Item(s) must be in new condition, not missing parts, tags, or instructions and in resalable condition. Items eligible to be returned must be post marked within 30 days of their receipt by buyer, or no later than 45 days after their initial shipment. We do not grant refunds or exchanges for custom, discontinued, clearance, or closeout items except due to our error or an undisclosed defect.

Custom cockpit sizing fits the sprayskirt to your boat. For custom tunnel sizing—the fit around your body—select your options on the sprayskirt’s product page.

Get a Seals sprayskirt made to fit your kayak’s cockpit when standard sizing isn’t available. Before ordering, check the Seals Fit Guide to see whether your kayak already has a recommended size.

Custom cockpit sizing is available on select models and requires a full-size cockpit tracing so Seals can match your kayak’s shape and dimensions.

Price includes customization charge.

How to Order

  1. Confirm availability. CHeck the customization guide to be sure the skirt you selected is available for customization.
  2. Place your order. Order your sprayskirt and the Custom Cockpit Sizing Special Order through Olympic Outdoor Center.
  3. Prepare your tracing. Follow the worksheet below to trace the entire outer edge of your cockpit rim. Include all required measurements and indicate the direction of the bow.
  4. Add your details. Include your name, contact information, kayak manufacturer, model, and hull material. Also include Olympic Outdoor Center, your purchase order number, and your customer order number. Contact our staff for the appropriate order numbers.
  5. Submit your tracing. Coordinate with our staff before mailing your completed tracing to Seals at the address shown on the worksheet.

Special-Order Details

  • Availability and cockpit-size limits vary by model.
  • Allow 3–4 weeks for completion after your order and completed tracing are received.
  • Custom orders are non-refundable once ordered, for any reason.
