Shipping Your Dry Suit

If your dry suit rental is being shipped, please select the date you would like us to ship your suit.

We recommend selecting a ship date 3–5 business days before the date you would like to receive your suit. Your requested delivery date should also be 3–5 days before you plan to use the dry suit.

This extra time is important. It gives you an opportunity to try on the dry suit, confirm the fit, and contact us if a different size is needed before your training, deployment, or operation.

The date you select when booking is your requested SHIP DATE, not the date you expect to receive or begin using the dry suit.

Example:

If you need the dry suit for June 15, we recommend receiving it around June 10–12 and selecting a ship date approximately 3–5 business days before that.

Expedited shipping may be available for an additional charge, but we strongly recommend planning ahead whenever possible.

Special Requirements

All renters must sign a release form. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign on their behalf.

WE CANNOT SHIP OR RELEASE YOUR RENTAL UNTIL WE HAVE YOUR SIGNED RELEASE FORM ON FILE.

These suits are intended for trained personnel conducting surface-water rescue, recovery, and related operations. Renting a rescue dry suit does not replace the training, equipment, or safety procedures required for these activities.

Shoes must be worn at all times while wearing the dry suit. This could be appropriate rescue footwear, river shoes, or preferably neoprene booties (included with every rental). NOT SANDALS.

Dry suit socks are designed to keep you dry but are not intended for walking without protective footwear. Walking or standing in dry suit socks without shoes can damage them and cause leaks.

When changing into your dry suit, stand on a tarp, carpet square, tote lid, or floor mat to protect the socks from damage.

Restrictions

Our rescue dry suits are NOT FOR SCUBA or any other types of underwater diving.

These suits are designed for surface-water operations and should only be used within the manufacturer's intended applications.

We are unable to ship rental dry suits internationally.

Disclaimers

Dry suits are inspected before shipping, including all gaskets and seals. Please take care of your suit during your rental and return it in good condition.

We understand that rescue training and field operations can expose equipment to demanding conditions, and normal wear is expected. However, if you puncture or tear the suit, cut or rip a gasket, or damage the socks, you will be responsible for covering the repair.

If you trim or cut the neck or wrist gasket, you forfeit your deposit.

A refundable damage deposit is taken at the time of order.

Renters are responsible for the full cost of necessary repairs or replacement if a suit is lost or damaged beyond repair, even when the cost exceeds the deposit.

Typical Dry Suit Repair Costs

  • Dry sock replacement: $150

  • Neck gasket replacement: $80

  • Wrist gasket replacement: $50 each

  • Patching holes and tears: $30 per inch

Our staff respectfully requests that you do not return excessively dirty suits for them to clean. Flush suits with fresh, clean water after use and remove as much sand, mud, and debris as possible.

A cleaning fee of up to $75 will be charged if your suit is returned unreasonably dirty, wet, moldy, or with excessive odor.

Keep sand, dirt, and debris out of the dry suit whenever possible. Brush off your socks and underlayers before putting on the suit. After use, turn the suit inside out as appropriate and remove accumulated sand and dirt.

Cancellations

Customers can receive a full refund or credit with at least 72 hours' notice of cancellation, provided the rental has not yet shipped.

Once your dry suit has shipped, the rental is no longer eligible for a refund, transfer, or credit, regardless of how far in advance of your rental dates you cancel.
