Founded in 1986 on the shores of Puget Sound, Olympic Outdoor Center has spent nearly four decades immersed in cold-water paddling, coastal travel, biking, and expedition-level outdoor use. What began as a small local shop has grown into a nationally respected source for paddlesports gear—trusted by paddlers who value reliability, fit, and informed guidance over hype.
We specialize in the equipment that matters most when conditions are challenging: kayaks, paddleboards, mountain bikes, dry suits, safety and rescue systems, technical paddling clothing, paddles, PFDs, spray skirts and decks, and SmartTrack rudders and components. These are not casual purchases, and we don’t treat them like commodities.
