The smallest of the 3 sizes, the 86 square inch blade is the least amount of surface area. Smaller stature paddlers benefit from a smaller blade. The Grand Prix 86 is also an excellent option for stand up paddle boarders who prefer to use a higher cadence.

If one can commit to a good loose grip style of paddling, Werner's straight shaft option is solid choice. For the entry level paddler, it allows the ability to save and invest in lighter swing weight because straight shaft is less expensive. For others they simply like the traditional, simple feel of a straight shaft. The attention to detail in texture, indexing and flex allows for confident control and comfort all day long.
The innovators of the Long Slender Rectangular blade shape. Copied, but never duplicated, Werner's blade shape is far and away the most gentle on the body, allowing you to enjoy the water all day without feeling beat up tomorrow. A softer feel and higher cadence without having to sacrifice blade surface area. Match this shape to your physical size and goals in the sport with 3 different sizes.
