Youth Classes

At Olympic Outdoor Center we believe in the power of teaching through play, and design all of our camps and classes to give kids the core skills and knowledge to grow with the confidence and enthusiasm for a lifetime of outdoor recreation.

Our camps foster teamwork, leadership, ecological knowledge of our region and how ecosystems are connected, Leave No Trace ethics, technical knowledge of various sports and outdoor disciplines, and how to have a ton of fun while learning.

We hire and train skilled instructors who are passionate about teaching, the environment, and outdoor recreation to be role models for your kids (many current instructors grew up attending our camps). All instructors have basic first aid and CPR certifications.

Over the past 20 years, Olympic has provided thousands of kids with positive, meaningful experiences in the outdoors, and we are still just as committed to developing and delivering the best programs possible as we were on day one.
