Adult Camps and Clinics |
 | This coastal kayaking class is essential for kayakers wanting to venture into the protected waters of PugetSound & beyond. Topics include capsize recovery, kayak design & construction, clothing, on-water paddle clinic, chart reading, water safety & more. This class consists of two sessions. When: Wednesdays & Saturdays CALENDAR

Session 2 - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

 | You've thought about kayaking and now it's time to try it! This is your chance to experience and become comfortable with kayaking under the supervision of an experienced guide. We will see marine wildlife from a water-level perspective, learn basic kayak safety, paddling strokes, and kayak turns. When: Every Saturday, June-September CALENDAR

 | A reliable roll provides sea kayakers with peace of mind and is essential for whitewater paddlers. Learn the C-to-C and Sweep rolls. Most students roll by the end of the first class with paddle aids, but proficiency takes practice! It may take from 1-3 classes to develop a roll & longer to have a consistent, reliable roll. HOT TUB soak at end of class! When: Once a month CALENDAR

Cost per person: $89 first class, $50 each class thereafter

 | This class is a must for all kayakers. No paddler’s skills are complete without proper safety equipment & knowledge of deep water recovery. Learn solo & two-person rescues, sling rescues, wet exit, equipment selection, and on-water safety. HOT TUB soak at end of class! Eskimo Roll not included in this class. This class is a prerequisite for all off-site rentals. When: Once a month CALENDAR
