Classes and Clinics |
 | Who:Preparing for Day and Multi-day Trips When: Prepare for paddle trips in the Puget Sound and beyond. Paddling professionals share tips and in-depth knowledge to ensure you have a solid foundation for a lifetime of safe, efficient and fun paddling experiences.
Topics covered: packing a kayak, trip planning, chart reading, using a compass, tides/winds/currents, cold water emersion preparation, proper clothing, using marine radios, signaling devices and more.
There are six classes that can be taken as a series or individually. Classes 1-5 are evening courses in a classroom. Class 6 is a local overnight trip to practice skills learned.

 | Who:SK-1: Kayak Intro and Tour When: Sea Kayak 1: This class will help you get comfortable in a kayak and learn the basics of paddling properly. Your fun, experienced instructor will give you a great foundation for a lifetime of kayaking. You will practice your new skills on a guided tour in our stable single kayaks.  | 15+ Who:SK-2: Pool Capsize Recovery Class When:
Sea Kayak 2 This class may save your or another's life. You'll also have more fun paddling once you learn what it takes to tip over a kayak. In the warm pool you'll learn and practice how to rescue yourself and others. No experience needed and all equipment is provided.  | Ages 18+ Who:SK-5: Rough Water Skills When:
Sea Kayak 5: Before heading out on a kayak trip where you may encounter rough water, learn these essential skills: capsize prevention strokes, capsizing in cold water, how to paddle in challenging conditions, appropriate clothing choices, tides, currents and more.

 | Who:Sea Kayak 1-2-3 When: This is the best value you'll find for learning to sea kayak with fun, professional instructors. You'll learn efficient paddle strokes, kayak materials, rescues, proper clothing and safety equipment, how to read navigation and tide charts and much more.
When you graduate from this series you'll be ready for light kayak touring on your own.

 | Who:Standup Paddleboard Introduction (SUP) When: If you aren't hooked on SUP already, you will be after this class! Standup paddleboarding (SUP'n) is the latest rage in paddlesports. We'll teach you the basics so you can get out there and hang ten.
